In this video I'm reviewing a tablet case for the Raspberry Pi 4. The "RasPad 3" has a 10.1 inch touchscreen LCD, stereo speakers, lithium battery pack, and a built-in 3-port USB3 hub. I start by unboxing and assembling the tablet case. A Raspberry Pi 4 is required (not included) and assembly takes just a few minutes. You'll need a USB keyboard and mouse to setup the software. This tablet includes an accelerometer board that is used to detect orientation and automatically rotate the screen. Installing the driver for it is easy and it worked perfectly for me. Raspberry Pi OS does not come with a touchscreen keyboard, but installing that is also simple. I found it to work alright, but sometimes touch events are not properly detected near the edge of the screen. Overall I found the RasPad 3 to be a nice option for people looking to turn their Raspberry Pi 4 into a tablet. On the plus side, there is plenty of room inside the case to fit small accessories or a small breadboard for electronics projects. On the minus side, the LCD has some glare and it's recessed below the surface a little. I would have also preferred if the tablet could be charged over USB-C.
