In this video I look at how much money I made from building a mobile app in 2020, and whether or not this can be a substantial source of passive income for me. My App: 🤍 ► Checkout M1 Finance (Get $30 when you deposit $100): 🤍e/YIPMuDmLpBtZ Several months ago when I first launched my YouTube channel, I made several videos on the process of building and monetizing my first mobile app for Android. For this project I created a free app in the Google Play Store which I monetized using advertising from Google AdMob. I then basically left this app alone for 4 months to see how much income it would generate for me completely passively. In this video I look at both how much money this app made me, where that money came from, and who is using my app. I then calculate my CPM to determine how well I am getting paid for ads versus other developers. This was a long process to build the app to its current point, but there is still a huge amount of work I could do on the app. I am considering making some improvements to the app in the future (especially around how it is monetized), so let me know if you would be interested in watching! 📈 💸You can get free stocks by signing up for these apps: ► M1 Finance (Get $30 when you deposit $100): 🤍e/YIPMuDmLpBtZ ► WeBull (Get 2 free stocks valued up to $1600 when you deposit $100): 🤍 ► Robinhood (Get a Free stock when you sign up): 🤍 🎥 My Video Equipment: Camera: 🤍 Tripod: 🤍 Microphone: 🤍 💼 🏆 VIP Investment Group: 🤍 I am not a financial or investment advisor. #DanielHindi goes over the 10 Steps to Building a Successful App with the BuildFire app development platform. 1. Always Set Clear Goals - What are you trying to achieve? Don't get lost in the weeds. 2. Wireframe - Writeframe your goals. Wireframe your journey like a blueprint because it's much easier to change and move plans on paper rather than real life. 3. High Fidelities - Have a high fidelity rendering after you've wireframed. Make it pretty. Make it picture perfect. 4. Technical Specifications - Have developers look at the technical challenges and logistics behind your project. This can save you months and thousands of dollars in the future. 5. Asses what Services You Need - Find services that have common functionality instead of hiring out a whole team, like BuildFire's app building platform. 6. Make Measurable Milestones - Break down your project into chunks to best measure your project. 7. Quality Assurance - Test out your product. From phones to tablets, test it all. Some people bring in a QA to test their project. 8. Deploy - Every time you redeploy, go back and QA the steps that worked before your redeployment. 9. Measure Success - Have KPI's. Are using adapting to your app? Have analytics for new users and repeat users. 10. Gather Feedback - Get feedback from your users. At the end of the day, it's not your that matters, it's your customers.

I often struggle to explain what the process of building an app looks like from start-to-finish, so when I had the idea for a simple app I could build in a single sitting I thought I'd record and share the process. The result is an app called "Take Me There" which provides a really simple way to get directions to favorite locations on your Apple Watch or iPhone.

This video details my journey in building a fintech start up app. For period of about 6 months, I spent building a mobile app that would allow people to frequently save money without feeling the effects of it. I set out this journey from a developer's perspective with very minimal planning. In this video I look at how much money I made from building a mobile app just over a year ago as well as how many users I have and what monetization strategies I have used. My App: 🤍 ► Checkout WeBull! (Get 2 free stocks valued up to $2000 when you deposit $5): 🤍 In this video I walk through the process I went through to pick a type of app to build, building the app, monetizing it, and now reviewing how much money I have made from it over the past year. It took me just under a month to build the app, from first designing it and coming up with the idea to launching it on Android in the Google Play Store. I also designed the app to be easy to launch on multiple platforms including both Android and iOS, so I may make a future video where I launch the app on the Apple App Store as well. 📈 💸You can get free stocks by signing up for these apps: ► Get up to $70 worth of stock from Public: 🤍 when you use code "fintek" ► M1 Finance (Get $30 when you deposit $100): 🤍e/YIPMuDmLpBtZ ► Robinhood (Get a Free stock when you sign up): 🤍 ► WeBull (Get 2 free stocks valued up to $2000 when you deposit $5): 🤍 🎥 My Video Equipment: Camera: 🤍 Tripod: 🤍 Microphone: 🤍 💼 🏆 VIP Investment Group: 🤍 I am not a financial or investment advisor. This tutorial will teach you how to build your first mobile application. It's aimed at experienced developers who are new to mobile. We'll start with a short tour of the anatomy of a mobile app – covering both the backend and frontend components. We'll pay particular attention to the data with Atlas in the backend, a Realm database embedded in the mobile app, and Realm Sync tying everything together. The bulk of the session will be devoted to a hands-on demonstration of building a simple chat app. The app lets users register, login and then join a chatroom of their choice. Once in a chat room, users can share messages with other members. We'll start by creating the Atlas cluster and backend Realm app. You then have the choice of following along with the coding and testing of either the Android (Kotlin) or iOS (Swift + SwiftUI) mobile app. By the end of the session, you'll have the skills to build this simple app for yourself, extend it to add new features and use it as the starting point for your own mobile apps.
